TAS Swimming Club
Formed in 2000, TAS Swimming Club has established itself as one of the most progressive and successful clubs in country Queensland. In the 2009/10 swimming season, TAS Swimming sent competitors not only to FNQRSA Carnivals, but also to NQ championships, Queensland Short Course Championships, Queensland Age Championships and Australian Age Championships. TAS Swimming Club is the current club title holder of the 2010 FNQ Long Course and Short Course Championships.
TAS Swimming Club is based at the Trinity Anglican School Aquatic Centre which is one of the best facilities in regional Australia. Head coach, Mr Morgan Knabe, oversees the competitive swimming program that incorporates the Regional Development Squad, State Development Squad and National Development Squads. Morgan has competed at the highest level representing Canada at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games and several World Championships.
